EJS will have many advantages for your patients who wear hard splints including;
Superior strength and wear capability
EJS resin provides excellent impact properties compared to commercially available, clinically effective acrylic materials. These findings have been confirmed by independent laboratory testing.

Enhanced Fit
EJS resin material allows users to manually fabricate, perfectly fitting, extremely durable splints, using only a single material.
Non allergic material
No evidence of any allergic reaction has been noted.
Stain resistant
The EJS chemistry is inherently resistant to common staining chromophores that are consumed during eating and drinking.
Plaque resistant
Clinical case reviews have shown that plaque growth on EJS devices appears significantly lower than that of a typical acrylic appliance.
HDL now offers the following splints in this new pioneering material:
- EJS 2MM Hard nightguard splint
- EJS Michigan/Stabilization splint
- EJS Plane/Relaxation splint
- EJS Anterior Repositioning Splint (ARPS)
EJS is useful in circumstances where repeated breakages of splints made from conventional materials have been experienced by the patient. However, due to the hardness of the material, some patients may not find EJS splints very comfortable.
