Whitening trays
HDL whitening trays are constructed out of a Latex free Ethelyne Vinyl Acetate (EVA) material. HDL trays are 0.75mm in thickness giving them a superior rigidity over many trays currently available on the market. To prevent irritation from the whitening gel, trays are not extended on to gingivae or exposed roots.
HDL Whitening trays are constructed with the following margins unless otherwise specified.
HDL Whitening Tray options
With reservoir
An EVA tray 0.75mm in thickness with 0.5mm spacers on the buccal aspect of the teeth allowing space for whitening gels.
Without reservoir
An EVA tray 0.75mm in thickness, for use with whitening gels which do not require a spacer.
Overlap
All trays can also be specified with a 1mm overlap scalloped onto gingivae or 2mm gingival overlap cut straight round.
